About the Lead Consultant:

The Past

I am former Senior Bank Executive with a solid track record in business development, strategic planning, risk management, marketing and communications. I am also a strategic thinker with in depth first hand experience of the Wholesale and Investment Banking Markets combined with strong management and inter-personal skills. I have extensive product knowledge and sound, prudent credit judgement, which has been attained through over forty years practical experience. I am self motivated and committed to the cause, a natural coach and team leader with a strong market reputation as a relationship builder.


During my career I had various senior roles, including:

Head of Strategy, Communications & Business Development

Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking

Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking

Head of Institutional Clients

Head of Credit

I also chaired several committees, including, Credit, New Products, New Business.

The Present

Since leaving the BNP Paribas Group I have established my own management consulting business aimed at providing a variety of services which put to full use the experience gained over my long career. As I have long had a passion for learning and have always been a supporter of the development of people, particularly by way of coaching and mentoring, I decided to focus the business on this area.

I am particularly interested in the possibility of assisting firms in enhancing their employees people/behavioural skills and the subsequent application of those skills in everyday situations. For some time I have also been fascinated in the field of Business Psychology and more specifically, Psychometric Profiling. The application of the latter was a key factor in my success and that of my teams in client facing and sales oriented situations. Psychometric Profiling tools are now widely used in business to create self awareness as well as awareness of others. Many of those that have experienced the process have felt that it had a really positive effect on their career and in some cases was a real 'game-changer'.

As well as my interest in the people side of things, during my career, I also enjoyed building new businesses. This involved developing a strategy and then implementing it. Given my extensive experience in this area the company is also able to provide advisory services in Strategy, Marketing, Communications and Business Development.
